Copin had spent two years rebuilding itself. New ownership, new artistic direction, growing institutional recognition. The product was in place. The image wasn't.
The default for is Jewelry is cold and clean hands. Lit like a museum piece. It tells you the work is precious. It doesn't tell you anything about the person wearing it.
Collection 02 needed a campaign that felt like Copin sounded in interviews. Modern, unisex, a little irreverent.
We put the jewelry in the worst possible day.
Working with director Rayan Ray, we built four small disasters shot with the visual grammar of a high jewelry campaign. A woman crying off her makeup. A junior buried under a stack of files. A dog being blow-dried. A man getting a bucket of water thrown on him.
A campaign built to work alone or chained together. Made for the feed.
